The Project

Crow Creek Winery sits on the owner’s vineyard in Pikeville, Tennessee. The family wanted one building that could turn their crop into finished wine and give customers a calm, modern place to taste it. We designed and built a 2,000+ sq ft heated winery that does both — production, storage, and guest space in a single compact footprint.

Designed Around Production Flow

A winery is not a storage building. Grapes come in, wine moves through each stage, bottles leave the site — and every step needs a place and a path. We laid the building out around that flow: sloped high ceilings make room for tanks and equipment, a chiller room holds finished product at temperature, a loading dock handles supplies and shipments, and epoxy concrete floors take spills and daily washdowns without wearing out. Nothing in the building is for show only.

Built for Life on a Working Farm

The building earns its keep outside the production line too. A rainwater capture system collects rain off the roof, filters it, and recycles it for reuse on the farm — on a vineyard, every resource counts. Metal siding and a metal roof keep maintenance low and stand up to weather and daily customer traffic. A custom automatic gate controls access to the property.

A Winery That Matches the Home

The owners live on this property, so the winery couldn’t read like a pole barn dropped in a field. We matched the proportions, lines, and finishes to the home up the hill, and wrapped a quarter porch around the building so guests have a place to slow down and take in the vineyard. It works like a production facility and welcomes people like a destination.
